And it sounded so nice. Bubble Tea. It sounds all light and frothy.

I love how we walked in and the girl said "you no want tapioca balls in your bubble tea, right?"

Of course I did, that is why I am here! My friend cannot breathe out her mouth for much longer, could you please hurry! My god woman, what are you cooking in this place?

And she handed me a see through cup that looked like dirty aquarium water with fish eggs at the bottom.

And it's all Jan's fault!!

But I thought I would be brave, and take a sip through the big ole straw, designed to accomodate tea and tapioca balls. And these were not little tiny balls but big honking marble sized ones. And up through that straw shot a mixture of tea and tapioca balls, BLACK ONES. My mouth was full of black tapioca balls. That is just not right. You should never chew tea. You should just *not*. No more than you should drink a steak. And the tea tasted like...perfume. Evening in Paris, Jan. I *drank* Evening in Paris. If your mother said Evening in Paris smelled like a whore, what happens if you drink it?!

And as we passed they were Bubble Tea shops everywhere. We even saw a place called Boba Tea Hut. I think we should burn them all down.

Brent lied, he said the tea was good. He did this on purpose. I am getting him back for this one.

I gave it all to my mother. Only I did not tell her what it was. I figure, a tea like this should be a surprise . I think she said it best.

WHAT DID YOU GIVE ME? OHMYLORD I FEEL LIKE I JUST ATE AN EYEBALL!" This was followed by much spitting and face making.

This should be a drink you have on halloween, like the peeled grapes.

My gawd I've turned you both into Evening in Paris guzzling whores sucking on fish balls!

When you asked me about this the other day, I am glad I never had the desire to try it. The tea sounds scarier than David Lynch.

No. Actually David Lynch is scarier. I think you should be forced to watch Eraserhead 20 times in a row. Then chewing Eyeball Tea will seem like nothing.

I will never ask anyone if they have tried it now :(. Ever again. Some things are just better left unknown.
