... You just listed all the reasons that stopped me from studying philosophy.

WE ARE ALL WRONG. I can't say this enough. I can't shout it loudly enough to be heard. WE ARE ALL WRONG! All of your information is coming from somebody else, all of your opinions have no meaning other than what the events of your life dictated to you, and all of your fact is mere perception.

Damn right. And that's the whole point, people take theirselves too seriously, think what they think is right, is the truth, a fact. And that's what pisses me off most about the whole Iraq thing, that the US just thinks they can decide what's right, what's the truth and what should be done. Why can't everyone just mind their own business? Why do some people have that enormous urge to stand up and convince other people that what they think is the truth? Of course, if no one did this, we wouldn't have scientists, and we wouldn't have philosophers, and we wouldn't have politicians. That's the problem, we NEED people to think they're right to keep the whole circle going, because if no one would care, we wouldn't exist in the way that we do. We'd still be cavemen, minding our own business and haunting for bears, and possibly fighting other people just because they disagree with us. Wait, what's wrong with that picture, isn't that where we are now?
