Christmas time is here :)
Look! Just over a month! I'm getting better at this...
Anyways, so today I kicked off the holiday season with a cookie baking party in my apartment. First of all, tis is the cleanest my apartment has been in... ever. My roomie who helped me clean and I were giddy all morning about it. It's shiny! And then I ruined it by flipping the open canister of oatmeal around and dropping when it slipped out of my grip, but whatever. I cleaned again. So now we have several dozen cookies that I will be eating as substitute meals for the next couple of days in an effort to not waste any. About half of the friends I invited to come actually came to the party, but they all left relatively early 'cause they had other stuff to do, so not all of the cookies were done by then and now I have 50 molasses cookies just hanging out. Good thing I like those!
Now my apartment is festive and clean and smells like sugar; a good day all around!
