The Bzz about where you can find me on the web

Sep 26, 2011 20:53

As part of a BzzCampaign, I joined about.me, a unique way to let people know where to find you on the web.

It's free to join and easy to customize. about.me is a personal splash page. Join up, add a background (either one they offer or one of your own), fill out your Biography, customize your colors and fonts (they're coming soon), and connect to all your services. Most popular services are available to connect, or you can add a flat URL to anywhere that isn't available. You can connect your Twitter, Facebook Profile, Facebook Page, Linkedin, tumblr., WordPress, Blogger, Posterous, Flickr, TypePad, FourSquare, Formspring, YouTube, Vimeo, last.fm, dailybooth, Instagram, Behance, and fitbit accounts. But don't get too discouraged, you can add flat URLs for your LiveJournal, Google+, or any other account or website.

It's really easy to connect and gives you a nice, clean splash page that's easy to link to. You can add your about.me link to your email signature, share it on Facebook, Twitter or any other online services. Make it easy for your friends or prospective clients/employers to find you.

Also, if you join now, you can get 50 FREE business cards from MOO (not including shipping). They'll add your about.me profile info, your about.me URL, and a QR code to your cards. Upload additional images if you'd like - each card can be different. Add to or edit your contact information. Cover shipping costs (approx. $5.50) and your custom pack will arrive at your door.
