(no subject)
I've really neglected this lately, I'm sorry. I was going to say I'd been doing all of these really exciting things, but...no. I wish. I love acting and I love working as much as I have been, but I haven't had thr time to do anything I want to or to see anyone I want to, and so it's been kind of crappy on that level. I can't really complain though. I've been doing a lot of promotional work and going to premiers and such -- so things have been busy, but yet mindless. I think that's the best way to be.
My sister Chelse and I went home as a surprise for Father's Day. I think my father was pretty excited, since it's rare for us to all be in the same house at one time. We took him out for breakfast, and Chelse and I made dinner that night - I think he might've liked it better if we hadn't made dinner, since I, for one, am certainly not known for my cooking skills, but he pretended to like it and we pretended we didn't notice the face he made when he started eating.
This post was mainly just to show off the icon that Jena made me a while ago and I never got to use, but I figured I'd come up with an actual update while I was at it. When people actually seek you out on AIM to tell you, "Dominique, you really need to update," you start to realize that hey, maybe that would be a good idea. I'm bright like that - I ain't no college girl for nothin'.
