Basically what we're looking at is an attempt by a cult of ego and secular apocalyptic-worshippers to gut democracy because it gets in their way...the problem being is they're so nut-ball insane no-one is taking them seriously, or don't believe it when confronted with what this American Taliban are up to. Which is a mistake because they have rich backers who see this an opportunity to leverage control over the government. [and I don't think they truly grasp just how far these nut-bars are willing to go either.]
