Disclaimer: I do not own Glee, or Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now."
a/n: For the fairytale prompt "The Raven." I'm not sure if I used the wrong "Raven" or if my middle school english teacher just really ruined that poem and its potential as a fairytale for me, but I thought this was a little odd... i'm not the only one who thinks the raven is overrated anyway, right?
Holly is woken up in the middle of an excellent dream starring Lucy Liu, by an inexplicable banging.
She almost considers letting the person bang away, but starts feeling a little guilty (it’s Schuester’s fault, because he taught her about “maturity” when she was so happy freewheeling), and decides that she won’t be able to get that heat between her legs again anyway.
Groaning, Holly lugs her body out of bed, and shuffles to the front door of this apartment - which is not through the bathroom door, she is sleepily reminded.
When she reaches the entrance, she’s annoyed, but her tired scowl must not be very good because when the door swings open, her guest doesn’t look terrified.
Holly blinks, not entirely sure that it’s not still an inappropriate, and possibly racist dream, and greets, “Tina Cohen-Chang - nice surprise, at 3:50 AM.”
Tina doesn’t seem even slightly abashed, and looks up at Holly trustingly.
“Remember when you had that - powwow, with Santana and Brittany?” she asks, like this is a totally normal situation. Holly figures that she might as well play along, and leans against her doorframe.
“Sure do, honeypie,” she confirms, hazily amused.
And then - Holly almost misses it, but Tina looks briefly uncertain. “Could you -” Tina blushes, suddenly very much abashed. “Do you think you could do the same thing with me?”
Memories of being irritated by interrupted slumber are gone instantly, and Holly pushes the door wide open.
“Sure thing - c’mon in, sweet.”
