Elizabeth has an early morning appointment at the nexus clinics. It's around nine am by the time she can go, and having managed the morning so far on a cup of coffee and half a bagel, she's hungry. (That's one of the things she got lectured for, when she copped to it. It's more or less agreed that she needs to stop pushing herself so hard and take better care -- all the same, her health is only improving.)
That's why she finds herself sitting at a table outside a nexus cafe, sipping coffee and waiting on her order of lemon crepes. (She might as well treat herself...although perhaps dinner tonight will be a treat enough, and the thought brings a smile, unbidden.)
