First I took my son to Warped on Sunday in Milwaukee.  We got there around 3pm and I had never been to Warped before so we just walked around looking at stuff.  We ended up by the merch tents and I was perusing the Transplants stuff when my son asked if we could see the My Chem stuff.  We walked over there and who do we standing there?  Bob.  And ( Read more... )

Wow, that was an awesome story. Heh, the part about the people with the cameras in your son's face and how he just giggled made me smile. That's cute. Sounds like you had a great time, I hope I do too. Sorry to be annoying and everything, but I have a cut pass as well. And I was just wondering, if you have one, is it just for ONE person? Or can two people go to the front of the line with one cut pass? Hm, I hope they're in a good mood when I see them. Because I'm a really shy person and if they're sort of standoffish, then I'll end up being EXTREMELY shy and probably end up not talking. Or maybe I can get over that side of me before then. Heh. Sorry for rambling.

Well they let both my son and I skip up front with my pass. I guess it depends on the people. I think you should be able to both get up there. I rambled a lot when I talked to them haha.

Haha, I ramble a lot. When I'm nervous. Or just when I'm really bored. Heh, yeah.

you still can't get cut passes can you? I didn't buy my tickets online for the detroit show. I don't think you can get them anymore can you?

You know what, I'm usually really shy too. And when I was at the signing session, I didn't speak at all to the first few bands, I just handed them my stuff. Then, since I had to stay there for the whole day, I was getting bored, hungry, tired, cranky, etc, take all that and the pratice of talking to the other fans there because I went alone, I actually talked to the last oh four or five bands. Twas nice.

Anyways, my point is, just talk to random fans throughout the day and by the time you see them, you should have gotten over your shyness somewhat. Also, I personally don't see the wrongness in figuring out what you are going to say ahead of time, could save you lots of embarressment.
