June 19, 2006: Dear Fellow Fans:
We have just been notified by Elijah Wood's representation that he has booked a film during the convention time and will not be able to attend ELF. We are working to book another major LOTR star and we should have an answer within a couple of workdays. Once we have this replacement name we will be contacting all those who have purchased Elijah photo ops and/or autograph tickets with a series of options, including refunds. We appreciate you being patient while we book our new guest. We regret this inconvenience and love working with Elijah (he has done all three of our previous LOTR events) but part of any fan convention is the possibility of guests booking film or television work that precludes their appearances at conventions. We have already invited Elijah to future LOTR events we are doing so we're hopeful we'll work with him soon.

My option is to meet Billy Now. Not a bad thing, but I really wanted to see Elijah. Goodness I hope they can still get someone else to show. It would be great if it was Sean, but I've already met Sean in Boston a few years ago.
Well I spent I think 140 or so on the Photo Op and Auto tickets,and Billy's tickets cost about 120ish? that 20 dollars better even out.
I might sound bitchy, but a simular thing happened to me last year in Orlando.
