Last Sunday we met Ruby, a dachshund/beagle mix from a rescue. We put in the application for her only to find out another family was interested in her. We were pissed/upset and the foster mom was pissed. Thursday we had a phone interview, got an email last night saying we were approved, so I emailed the foster to see if the other family was still interested in her. I figured I wouldn't hear back until tomorrow, but I got an email today saying we got her! I checked the website again and read the updated write up on her saying that she needed to go to a home with other dogs. I had been avoiding checking the website b/c I didn't want to jinx anything or see that she had a big "ADOPTED" thing writing on her write up.

I'm not sure when they're bringing her over, but it should be this week. The dogs will be happy to have their little friend back.
