unfortunately my insanely irrational fear of sharks has kept me ou of the water. its gorgeous over here, though..the water is crystal clear.

i can't wait to post some pics:)

I'm looking forward to the pictures, but ... isn't the water there too warm for sharks? and also, if it's crystal clear, surely you would see a shark coming? (it's ok, you can be irrational if you want to :D)

nope...the water isn't too warm for sharks.
they caught something resembling a great white off amedee island in noumea...and there were reef sharks around dravuni. mind you, the locals told me "they're friendly fijian sharks" (just like the "friendly fijian spiders", and "friendly fijian sea snakes"). *shudders* LIARS!!! there's nothing friendly about 'em.
i got pics of my nephew chasing a sea snake, the buffoon! so yeah..i stay on the sand.
