Saw Eddie Izzard in L.A. tonight. Great show, ended at 11pm. We had planned on walking around for a while afterward. Little did we know that we'd be spending that entire time looking for the lot where we parked the car. Two and a half hours later, when we finally found it, we realized we had somehow missed it on our first pass by only about 20ft. There are far too many Subway restaurants in Los Angeles. Also, we only parked there because he can't listen to my directions and decided to go off-map when exiting the freeway.
Then on the drive home he merged onto the Hollywood Fwy rather than Ventura, so he backtracked, stopped at a 7-11, got lost in a residential zone, and missed the Ventura onramp, all of which set us back at least another half hour.
