I'm studying for my American Catholic Experience class right now. Does anyone from SHC know if Murray Hall happens to be named after John Courtney Murray, S.J.? Who is John Courtney Murray, you ask? Oh, I'm glad you asked. He wrote a book called "We Hold These Truths" in 1960. He thought Catholic thought could illuminate the American ideal of liberty. He was censored by the Church for his writings on Church-State relations, however, his ideas were vindicated in Vatican II. Now you know.
