of kerplunk artists gig last night @ saguijo
It was one of the best gigs to watch. Just seeing Kjwan and Angulo, and then my friends from Hansom and Tonight We Sleep perform again made me so hyped and excited for last night's gig.
I just made it in time just before Kjwan's set. I wasn't able to come earlier and watch the other bands play though. But still I got what I came for. About Kjwan's performance, Marc Abaya was the man! He put up a great performance and took over Jorel's guitar duties, yet sang in the perfect 'Marc Abaya' pitch. They had a keyboard sessionist to fill in for the funky tunes Jorel usually does. By the wat this was the first time I saw and heard them without Jorel and I was sad to not hear those ear twitsting delay tunes. It's a big gap Kjwan will need to face right now.
Next up was Angulo. I am such a fan of delays and hearing those riffs done by both guitarist Lio and Kelvin was very eargasmic. Also Niles' was very energetic as usual.
