It's blazing outside. I tried to take a short-cut to work and I ended up being 30 minutes late. The office is a mess because we're moving to Simi Valley. A week from now, my commute will be 4x what it is now - 43 miles as opposed to 11. And the company isn't going to offer any kind of compensation to us office staff people. None.
So yesterday, I spent a couple of good hours updating my resume. By July, I'll be in a different position, hopefully my moods will improve, I'll smoke less. Hopefully, I'll get paid more. I'm cautiously optimistic.
This weekend, Doris and I are going to San Diego for my cousin's First Communion. This cousin is from the side of my family that I see only like, 3 times a year so I'm pretty excited. This part of the family, I used to see every Sunday at my Grandparents' house. How things change, eh?
