i admit i didn't read that whole link, because it bores and enrages me at the same time, but heres my problem with all the 'arguments' on there..

doublespeakn : any language that pretends to communicate but actually does not ( ... )

I think the 'talking points' in that link were more to counter the spin being put out by pro-conservative writers/think tanks that attempt to put forward arguments for why the PC child care platform is a good idea. Most of these 'arguments' don't provide reasons why the PC platform should be supported, rather, they attack the rationale behind the pro-child care movent.

I think both sides are well aware that Harper is doing exactly what he promised to do, word for word. Rather, the debate going on has more to do with which path is more beneficial to children and their parents in Canada.
