Jerry's message (coach)
I have Jerry's message, just as I promised!!!!!!
Sam delivered Alicen Paige via C section at 12:30 am last night....both
are healthy doing well....
Ali Weighed in at the hefty weight of 10 pounds 12 onces!!!! 21.5
inches long...
two things we thought for sure going in were :
we had a boy and the lil thing would have red hair....neither
happened...though a tint of red is in the hair.
Sam started having contractions at 2:00 am Friday night/ sat
morning....
was up all night and about 11am we headed to the hospital. about 4:30
she got situated in the delivery room, after some drugs to settle her
contractions down, she was good to go for the start of pushing at 8
ish....3:45 minutes later we- SHE was still pushing.....and not getting
anywhere....the only way I could sum it up was it was like having run
26.1 mile of a marathon and feeling all the pain of getting that far and
know the end was no where in site....THERE WAS NO WAY THAT BABY WAS
FITTING THROUGH ANYONE!
midnight they decide to C section....I will explain that situation
later....quite the experience....
2 hours in the recovery room, and a little after 3 ish we got in the
room....got to sleep at 3:45 ish....Sam was totally exhausted and still
is...
Ali has sam's big feet-decent arches, her big hands- , sam's dads
cheeks, nose, hair, and gut....nice set of lungs too.
So far the only thing I can figure out that I sent her way was about 10
minutes after being out she took a nice dump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ANyone thanks for all of your support...four new GV track babies all
born in the last couple months running around should give us a pretty
good DMR squad in a few years!!!

This week could be a bit crazy for me, so hang in there and work with
your event coaches on details of the week....I am still going to try and
be at the Monday 3:55 meeting....
Then today, he said that he had to go home and take care of the lil shit! haha lol I couldn't believe he said that! It was pretty funny though. I'm so glad I have a coach like him....totally different from the other ones.
Anyways, wanted to leave with this.....sorry I'm bitchy, I know I can be. It was just a stressful day and I hate my women's gender studies class, they totally make the guys feel worthless in there. I hate what my woman professor and my female classmates have to say!! So today was just a frustrating day with that, and plus I'm just getting frustrated with practice, it feels like I'm trying and not going anywhere. Well I am, but I want to get there faster! lol Dang it! I'm too damn competitive!!!haha lol Oh well, I love it!!! Anyways, you know who this message goes to, no sense in saying any names. Love you!
