WHY KOREAN MUSIC FEST??
So apparently they have only announced 6 groups or artists for Korean Music Festival so far. I know ShinEE and Girls Generation....only have heard of Lena Park..but don't know the rest! I hope they bring other artists that I'm a fan of...b/c if they don't...I'll be so sad that I'm spending so much money to go to this concert.
I know asking for DBSK to come is a long shot. In fact I had a dream that DBSK came to Fanime. I know that will NEVER happen, but AX getting Morning Musume put hope in me. It's false hope though considering Fanime would never be able to afford to have DBSK come over. True, Changmin and Jaejoong do love anime and video games, but I don't think SM Town or Avex would let them come to California JUST for them to watch cosplayers walk around. I don't think they would get mobbed like crazy though. In fact when people cosplayed in DBSK's Rising Sun outfits at Fanime in 2007, only 1/3rd of us knew who they were (at least that is how it felt to me). I think I was the only one from DAC that year during the masquerade to get excited when they announced the DBSK cosplayers. I thought more fans of anime would be into j-pop,k-pop, or c-pop, but I'm noticing that is not the case. There is overlap, but not always.....
Why can't Fanime be like the Chinese anime conventions that kokoro_no_uta has told me about in which they have TONS of booths dedicated to J-pop fans? I guess we just don't have the fan bases for that here in the states....
