Oh goodness, where to start...

Classes were actually okay. My drama class is the shit, and everyone in it is so laidback and accepting that I'm already comfortable to do whatever in front of them. Anthropology...the guy was really intense. I hate when teachers are really mean about the whole "you could fail" thing. Like, they repeat it every 5 minutes to make sure that you are not the best and you will have to do a shit load of work...or maybe you just had to be there :P
Sociology seems really interesting to me. But some of the reading in the begining seems so freakin' pointless because I feel like they just repeat themselves over and over again and it's homework that's 50 pages long which could just be reduced to a page or two. My American People class...why did I take this class...it's from colonial to jacksonian times. Which I guess could be really interesting. But I know I suck at important details when it comes to remembering events. So I'm just crossing my fingers.

My bike is the shit.

I will take a picture of it and post it here because it is the cutest thing I've ever seen.

The last few days I've been exploring Isla Vista, the town right outside the campus (no literally, they merge...it's a 6 minute bike ride from my dorm). They have some pretty cute shops and apparently this place called Freeb!rds is the new Chipotle. But there's everything I'd ever need, which is great, especially since my bus sticker is being sent in the mail right now.

Oh! And when we went down town, we saw an advertisement thing to be...I guess, an eyelash model for eyelash extensions?? And Karen and I are going to try and be eyelash models :P

I've been looking for the auditions for some one acts directed by students, but so far no luck. Oh well, we'll see.

I wish we had set up an improv team at SHS because they have one here that I went to see with a few people and it was really good. Though apparently not "the best" according to Scott who I guess was on the improv team at his highschool...which is why I told him he should show them his skillz, then.

And by the way, I love my roomate. I know I was like, "Oh fuck, I don't know...she seems 'eh'" but she's really nice, so I take back anything I might have said prior to actually meeting her in person :P

dfushdfihsdifsd I SAW MY FIRST SKUNK THAT WASN'T ALREADY DEAD! There's a picture of it on facebook but it was too dark, so you can only see my white shirt.

But yeah. It's been fun. I've met soooo many people here. But I do miss you guys, too :) Although, James, I did meet an Australian guy a couple days ago, so...(just kidding, miss ya :P)

They had dances almost every other night the first week, and apparently more to come, which makes my LIFE.

We had a concert yesterday, but none of the people I was with were very big Head Automatica fans.

Today's been declared a studying day by Karen and I, so we'll be busy all day...at the beach...with towels...and sunglasses...getting our study on...

It's hard. :P

So word, if you ever feels like calling/texting/facebook messaging, go ahead because I want to hear how y'all are doing back in the bubble or wherever else you happen to be :)
