There go my Mondays
This was the last free Monday I'll have until the end of the semester, so I slept in until 9:30. I was going to go to the Elementary school I'm volunteering at for school to get paperwork signed, but by the time I realized I didn't have the paperwork necessary, it was too late. *sigh*
Instead, I took my time getting ready, doing my online thing. It's so much easier when you do little bits at a time rather than all at once one day a week! Anyway, Charles was on, so we chatted, and we decided to meet up later and get food. I went down to school and picked up the forms and then headed to his place. His apartment is nice...it's the first time I've seen it. It reeks of Charles...Leggos, Star Wars, computers and game systems everywhere...so typial. It's a nice place. Probably a little bit bigger than mine. We went off to Islands to get food and chit chat about life and politics. He's such a sweetie to always pay for my meals. :D Then it was off to Home Depot to grab some mirrors for an art piece he's going and then to Ghanall's Lumber to get me a heat gun that was on sale (I saved myself at least $10 by going there...yay!). After that, we went back to his apartment, by which time one of his roommates was home. I hung out for a while longer talking with Tina, Charles' roommate's girlfriend, and watching the boys play video games. Boys and their games, I swear. I think it was about 5:30 when I decided I'd better head home.
I came home and repotted and planted a few plants, which was nice. Missy, Izzy's cat, was clamoring to go outside, so I let her out onto the balcony. She immediately jumped to the ledge and looked as if she'd jump into the tree, so I threw her back inside. I came in later and tried to pet her. She got pissy and swatted at me. I told her no and pointed my finger at her, and she batted at me. I got closer and she swatted me across my face! She caught me under my eye and gave me a nice little puncture, plus left a red mark across my cheek and almost made me bleed by my mouth as well. So pissed at the friggin cat. Gr.
Today is the anniversary of mine & Morgan's first date. Hehe. I finally realized it was the 27th today, which is kind of coincidental because both of our birthdays fall on the 27th, though on different months of course. If we get married (who knows) we'll have to get married on a 27th. lol.
