New Computer.
I'm slowly working on shifting over to a new Laptop.
Typographer and miertam found a great used laptop and bought it for me for a late birthday present. I've got great friends!
It's an Inspiron, which is the great great great great ad-infinitem dependent to my Inspiron 1000 that I got in 2004, so you can see how far behind I fell.
So far so good, though I'm working a bit with Windows Defender. I need to install AVG. From what I understand so far, Windows Defender is integrated with Windows and cannot be deleted. It can be turned off though, which is important as AVG and WD will argue with each other. I'm waiting for confirmation on that.
Meanwhile I've installed my Photoshop CS program. That wouldn't fit on my old machine. Sweet!
It will take a few days of use to figure out what all I need to transfer.
