It's official. My longtime dream of working at the Dolphin Research Center in the Florida Keys and swimming with the dolphins is coming true in just under 2 months. They contacted me to let me know everything is in the final stages and now all I have to do is purchase my plane ticket there. OHMYGOD!!!!
I will go to many seminars to learn about different Dolphin stuff, including one for Special Needs children, which is something I am very much interested in. I get to experience many hands-on activities with the dolphins including being in the water WITH them. AND I get to live in the Florida Keys in a beautiful dorm that has a view of the ocean outside the window. It will be the most wonderful week ever and it will go by far too fast for me. I just know it will.
My only wish right now is that my Aunt where here to experience this dream coming true. She went to the DRC a year before she was killed and got me so much stuff from there and told me all about it, therefore creating the dream in me, and now I am finally making it come true.
