I woke up early yesterday, and was just checking on a few things before bed when my computer screen turned green and the hard drive was racing. So I shut down, but now my computer is whacked. It turned out not to be a virus, but my McAfee was unrecoverably damaged. So I installed the Norton Antivirus instead, but now my PC is having trouble booting and looking for McAfee files. I tried reinstalling, but it's not working.
If I want to edit my registry to remove all reference to McAfee when booting up, how do I do that? Outlook is also looking for McAfee. How do I stop it from looking?
Any assistance is appreciated.
