[The phone is picked up right away, as the sounds of her pressing the phone's numbers. Only three are heard, as if she was calling 110. Soon enough, her breathing can be heard, and it's high, raspy, and it seems that she's hyperventilating]

U- um... I don't-- I'm not... hello? Is this the police? S- someone in this house is trying to impersonate

"Why?" ... That's somewhat of a more difficult question. Nobody has yet managed to figure out the true motives of the ones in charge here.

I see... I'm sorry. B- But, this place... what-- I mean, um, where is this?

[sosnarrator]

Basically, we're in a place called Mayfield, it's supposedly in 1950s America.

[dolosa]

1950s... A- America? This isn't Japan?

[sosnarrator]

I'm afraid not.

[dolosa]

But... how...?

[sosnarrator]

That... is another one of the mysteries.

[dolosa]

T- That's really weird...

[sosnarrator]

I guess you could call it part of Mayfield's charm.

(Its... rather uncharming charm.)

[She giggles, that was kind of funny.] I suppose, if that is what this place is like.

[sosnarrator]

It's still really scary, though...
