And it's brilliant, isn't it, the way this request for info leads to truly abyssmal puns?
I'd LOVE to hear "In the Mood for Love" clucked by chickens. I'm a sucker for animal noises of all kinds - and clucking is a perennial favourite with me.
But I'll finish the peice without it. Soon (though not as soon as I like - I've just had a look at my diary... ouch. Whatever happened to "almost the end of term"?)

I suppose I could adopt a peacock or peahen (do they both scream like that?) for a day or two. Or perhaps early mornings only - one of the reasons said neighbour drives me nuts is that I can hardly ever sleep in.
Did you need to know anything about sheep, pigs, horses, or cattle? Apples? Cornlands and hay-making? Wiltshire-cure bacon?
I almost wish I did now, so you could tell me about them. But my vision of Wizarding life isn't so exactly spelled out as yours. In any case, I don't believe the Weasleys are a farming family as such, so the need doesn't arise this time round. And the Lovegoods certainly aren't! I'm fairly up on the growing of veg in gardens because my father does that and I've helped - it's just the chickens...
