Happy new year!

We went to the celebration organised by the Chinese Welfare Association here; it was really nice how they shared the occasion with the whole community.

It's great when you get that kind of celebration - most of my Chinese connections are only recently arrived and dreadfully homesick, so sharing the New Year happiness is often the last thing on their minds...
