This will hopefully be a three-parter, set in London and Devonshire.

In which Holmes and Watson are visited by an oddly dressed young man, concerned for his sister.

Oh, I'm so glad you've started this! Much love for Diggle's Muggle disguise, and Mrs. Hudson's reaction!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! (and I can quite see why JKR wrote about inept wizard disguises so many times - it's great fun...)

This is just magnificent! I love all the details - the terror of Thrush Green, the Malfoy butler, the hopeless disguise, the 75 musical instruments.

Though I think we all know that the laundress was simply seduced by the Duke and packed off to be less embarrassing elsewhere.

Glad you liked it - and that you noticed Thrush Green and Butler!Malfoy!

Though I think we all know that the laundress was simply seduced by the Duke and packed off to be less embarrassing elsewhere.

That was the obvious explanation, yes. Sadly, the world is not quite ready for the truth...

Clearly my naivity is just the sort that allows the Truth to go undesired and unexplored and permits so many criminals in the world to get away with their nefarious deeds.

I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE GLAD!

Albus is only an enabler in this story - but you will probably like the sequel to this story, in which he enlists help from Holmes to clear the name of a sulky and ungrateful Aberforth...
