Today I've had two pancakes, a cookie, two slices of pumpkin pie and some ice cream straight from the pint. How's that for nutrition?
Also, finally wrote that paper on the scientific revolution or, more specifically, some essays about the revolution. I could have made it much longer but I boiled it down to three pages. I swear my brain has never hurt so much as these past few months. I'm wondering if I'm just thinking harder about things that I used to just skim over. This paper was only for History 102 and yet it took me hours of just sitting and reading and thinking about it to get it down. It took all of that work for a paper assigned online with uber-basic grammar rules attached.
Thou shalt include a subject and verb in each sentence.
Thou shalt use apostrophes for possessive pronouns or contractions of "it is"
etc
etc
It's ridiculous. Apparently on the film comparison paper people didn't even really understand paragraphs. I know it's an entry level college course but WHAT? YEAH, I THINK SHE SAID COLLEGE. Shit like that should make me feel better about the paper--I really don't have to put that much effort into it--but I don't know what else I can do at this point. I'm even using words like "whereby" and "notwithstanding".
In other news: I still have too much stuff to finish in the next seven days.
