Is time for Christmas Number One!

Is that time of year again, when wizarding wireless is full of sounds of Christmas! But who will be having the prestigious Christmas Number One this year? Is good competition this time!

In position of favourite we have annoying things called Spice Witches, who have apparently crossed over from Muggle charts with annoying hit song "Too Much." If this is winning song, I will set self on fire. Or, better, will set Spice Witch on fire. Am thinking pudgy one would burn nicely and for long time, no?

Other likely song to win, heard incessantly on wireless and on Top of Wizarding Pops program is Manic Street Sorcerers with cover of Muggle Christmas song "Last Christmas." Is not bad, actually. In m4a format; you are to deal with it and not be complainer. If this wins, am thinking will not set anyone on fire.

Amusing other choice is bad bad song from Bogeyshambles, which is new group set up in wake of Wizardtines implosion of doom, as being documented here. Is something about firewhiskey, heroin, and going to beach for surfing at Christmas holiday, as far as I can be making out.

ETA: If that last part inspires new wanking about stupid Wizardtines and RPS, am going to set surprise thing on fire, when you are least expecting it. Consider yourselves being warned.

In dark horse spot, though, is song I think is best choice. Billy Macnair, who is being related to old associate Walden, has covered old hit of his "Mudbloods are all around" for holiday season. New version is called "Christmas Is All Around," of course, and has awesome lyrics:

I hex them with my fingers;
I stomp upon their toes.
But Christmas is all around me,
So I'll refrain from Crucio.
Their stink is on the wind,
It's everywhere I go.
But even though I hate Mudbloods,
This week I'll let them go.

It is being a must-hear! I am hopeful that it is winner this year!
