I'm almost not homeless!

Well, well, well. As I write from the cheap wooden (at least it looks like wood) desk in the Marriott Towne Place Suites I feel much better knowing that by this time next week I'll be relaxing in MY HOUSE! My folk's new place has carpet, and most of the knobs that are usually put on all those odd little doors that are traditionally placed around a large house.

They expect to close on Friday, and the movers show up on Saturday. My parent's still don't realize how much more they still have to pack. I lived in my small townhouse for only three years, and it seemed like I shoveled crap out of that place for two months. Ofcourse since they don't have to get EVERYTHING out, they'll end up leaving all sorts of things behind (like the 6 foot iguana) yes folks, you read that correctly, 6 foot iguana. One of the cats is very interested (but warry) of the beast, the other, doesn't want anything to do it her.

I've got a huge list of things to do/fix/change/break/spindle/fold/mutilate in the house. Should keep my busy for quite a while.

Oh well, time to go to sleep!
