In my never ending quest to spend more money I tackled the workroom this weekend. Painted the walls, and then realized that I should replace the workbench with something more......elaborate :)
Out came my trusty tape measure and starting working things out. Went to Loews and found something even better... real cabinets So, back to the drawing board. This time with a diagram and paper cutouts of the different combinations! Gee this _is_fun isn't it??? Almost like kindergarten.
So after designing something so incredible that I wouldn't be able to enter into the room for the size of my creation, I scaled it back a bit and have decided to error on the side of moderation, because it is always easy to add more later!
CWalters doesn't realize it yet, but I'm dragging him to Loews tonight on the way home from work (I drove the van today in anticipation) so he can help me load and unload my bounty.
I'm beginning to think that I really need to have that house warming party so that I can get ideas on how to set the place up from everyone else. I had originally planned on getting it somewhat in order, and then having everyone over. Now I'm realizing that I don't have much of a clue, and need ideas. This is most evidenced by the fact that I retreated to the workroom where I feel comfortable making decisions. Hell the first thing I did was put outlets in the garage! How lame is that for "decorating"??!
