I am in movie squee-mode, which seems to be common these days--remember, kids! Don't drink and push the buttons on the phone, and DON'T lj on a movie high.
Rule # 2 is now broken.
For anyone who hasn't seen Kinky Boots, go out and do so, NOW. Basically, the fourth-generation son of a shoe factory owner (Joel Edgerton, who bears a squeeful resemblance to a young Stephen Rea) is left with a factory in debt, and next to no resources. He finds inspiration in a drag queen, Lola, (Chiwetal Ejiofor) who agrees to help him design shoes for men who dress like women. Or, in her words, "two and a half feet of red, tubular sex."
Heh.
The result, of course, is absolutely fucking adorable.
