Shel and I did a seance on Halloween. We walked up the top of the butte and set up the Ouija board. We had a little beer to use for libations, and began to ask questions. Shel swears he wasn't moving the thing, and I know I sure as hell wasn't. Whatever spirit was there was faint, and only answered yes or no questions. After a short while, it got ( Read more... )

Banishing rituals are what will protect you from unwanted energies of low vibrations...the rituals, they center you, define your sacred space, connect you with the divine, and sweep away discursive spirits and forces, all unwanted energies…

The most highly regarded banishing ritual in all the research I have done, mentioned in just about every book I have read regarding banishing rituals and occult practices, (I think anyone who knows anything about occult practises would all agree on), Is the banishing ritual that was (and still is) taught by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn...

It is the most famous and well known, It's called "The Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram" (LBRP)

People in the Order of the Golden Dawn regarded this ritual as so important that (if you were initiated into the Golden Dawn) you would do this ritual at least once a day for a year before learning anything further...

(talk about commitment eh?)

There is also Aleister Crowley’s "Star Ruby" ritual, and the "Aurum Solis's Rousing of the Citadels" among many, many others…

In Tibet, they practice something called a mind circle, a "semskhor" which is considered to accomplish the same thing as any kind of banishing ritual...

For me, the “Sphere of Hekas” is the one I’m sure is right for me (even though I have yet to use it or try it), as it is simple, and involves the Goddess Hekate, who has been a powerful force in my life since I was a child…

The general advice in most books is that you research and experiment with as many of these different variations of banishing rituals that you can find until you find something that feels right for yourself...

Once you do, you will just know, and feel protected...

There is a really really good (short) book that I have found extremely useful,
Draja Mickaharic's "Spritual Workers Spell Book" I dont practise witchcraft, and the spells in this book are designed for people who dont practise the craft...(i think i paid $8.00 for it?)

I have only used three of the spells, or rituals, in the book... The three spells involved dealing with negative roaming astral energies bothering you while you sleep, or dealing with nasty nightmares, and how to stop nightly visits from nasty energies...

The best one, was the spirit bottle trap, it literaly worked overnight for me, even tho i was really unsure about it while making them, and after many a month of nights of waking up in a dream state with black clouds over me, paralyzing me, and terrifying me, even unable to breathe...it all stopped immediately after making and placing these bottle traps...(everything i used to make them came from wal-mart LOL)

(I had them placed for a couple of years, and now I dont even need them as i havent had any trouble for the last few years with those energies that were visiting me very frequently, its like they just gave up trying to penetrate my space after creating this protective barrier, and they moved on somewhere else)
