For Sale: A Handmade Dress

Apr 18, 2011 18:14

Hi all!

I was hoping I could sell a dress I made to a good home. I made it from this beautiful vintage-y cotton printed with flowers and butterflies. It has pleating at the neckline and the skirt, with clean princess seams. I made it to wear with Dolly Kei outfits, but unfortunately, something broke on my serger recently, so I need to buy a new part... thus this sale. ^^

Everything is fully serged on this airy Spring/Summer dress. It is comfortable with blouses and perhaps a light slip or crinoline, but was not made for the fullness of a super-poofy petticoat. There is creamy venise rose lace trim on the bodice to accent the print.

Measurements, 34" bust max, 29" waist max. Recommended for smaller, but not larger. There's no shirring or give to the fabric.

My asking price is $50 for the dress alone + shipping.

For the sake of reference, I have feedback from selling on the EGL Community here. This page includes links to even more feedback. Since this community and EGL are separate, I don't expect the buyer to leave me feedback there, it is just for buyer reference.

Here it is coordinated with a blouse, hat, and purse, none of them are included.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking!
