A Good Phone Call for ONCE
"Hello?"
"Is this Rebecca?"
"Uh, yeah."
"Hi."
"Who is this?"
"You know."
"Tim?"
"You think?"
"How'd you get my number?"
"The phone book."
"You mean, you actually phoned every Jones number in the book until you found me?"
"Yeah."
"You actually did that?"
"Yes."
I actually thought for once that I had everything. And he explained it all to me, how he was married but single, how he really felt, what he wanted. And it all went down quickly in this silly stupid affair. And then I woke up and realized how fucked up everything was.
