Haunting Update
[time: 1:30 am]
There are the sounds of a struggle from the locked nursery, culminating in several piercing shrieks, apologies, and desperate begging from the woman some may have remembered helping them, telling them where to stay from behind the locked door. Eventually this falls to pained, muffled noises, and then something shatters.
A blinding light fills the entire house for about five seconds, and then all the lights--everywhere, except those created by the characters--go out. They're left with that and the occasional static flash of lightning from outside. The door to the nursery opens--only a broken lantern can be found.
It's going to be a long night.
