He's back together with Barbie and now has to be the pinnacle of good boyfriends? xD I don't even know, but it is rather hysterical.
I tend to suspect Mona Lisa's arms are articulated (Morticia's arms are like that, too, to give her the 'crossed arms' pose in the box). Guh, I am in love with everything about her. And I ADORE the Sinatra doll, she is killing me with perfection. Agreed about the pivotal body! I pointed that out to my mom, too. I really like that they did that (I suspect the Elvis doll is also a pivotal girl, they just didn't "pose" her quite as much). It adds character to them. :)
I think you mean Tokidoki, not Skelanimals <- No lie, I always thought these were the exact same thing. LOL. What...is Tokidoki? I feel like I'm missing some huge cultural movement here. She might not be too expensive (the Hello Kitty and My Melody dolls were only around $30-$35?), it depends on who they're targeting that towards, I guess. Her accessories are too fun.
I love that Francie. She's adorable. Agreed! Vintage Repros are always precious. <3
Tokidoki is basically a brand that produces a little bit of everything, with their cute little characters on it. Clothing, accessories, urban vinyl figures, stationary...I guess they're sort of like the high-end version of Sanrio. I have some of the figures and two purses from them, and sadly they are pretty expensive. I'd have tons more of their stuff if I could afford it. I'm definitely going to try and save some money for this doll though. I wish there was a release date for her.
Thank you!!! You've taught me something! :D I think I got them confused because her little bracelet's logo reminds me of the baby skeletons. It's really, really cute regardless. I hope she isn't too much. And I wish there was a release date for quite a few of these. WANTS. *grabby hands*
I just love Francie's face. I have the Wild Bunch repro and she is the cutest thing. Plus her outfits are fabulous. :P
And charmed_dolls beat me to the punch explaining Tokidoki... to be honest I'm not sure how I'd explain it anyway. xD Basically it is a design brand, that collaborates with makers of clothing and other products. So they have handbags, clothes, makeup, shoes... a lot of different things. And it's all super expensive. O_O
I never had a Francie and always sort of wanted one, so this is bad. hehe She is positively darling, though.
*nods* I think I get it now. I feel dumb that I've never heard of this before, what rock have I been under?! Their stuff must be so cute! And it's all super expensive. O_O Ack, now I join you in the worry about her price.
