I am not dead, just taken to blogging very, very rarely. Hell, I barely post to FB or G+ these days. Work got Very Interesting, then Very Intense, and now I'm in Hong Kong for work for a week for a yearly planning before things get Very Intense again.

So. 2011, in summary:

• Spent the beginning of the year deeply in love with a friend that was completely not interested. Ah, well. Relationship stayed platonic, but he was always at my place. Always. As in, lived 3 hours away and was spending every night at my place. Wandered out to porch one sunny morning and said, "Why are you here?" He replied, "Because I enjoy your company." I nodded and said, "Yeah, well, that doesn't do it for me. Leave. And don't come back." And he did pretty much just that.
  
• (Edit) Moved into a kick-ass house with 4 car garage with the Best. Roommate. EVAR.
  
• Got a breast reduction - 3.5 lbs total off the chest. Spent 4 months in agonizing hell, have hellacious scars, but 44J to 38D = win.
  
• Bought a totaled RX7 to put the recently rebuilt engine into the '91 Miata purchased in Nov 2010.
  
• My mentor at work quit. I started looking for a new job. New mentor stepped up. Had long, heated discussion with boss that I will write up later. Things got worse. Things got better. Relatively happy now, with the exception of wanting to throw Most Hated Coworker off a bridge.
  
• Started the Year of One Night Stands. Plan derailed when I kept sleeping with same guy. We are Some Thing, but unsure of what.
  
• Bought another '91 Miata. They're small. You need two.
  
• Just when Some Thing started getting a little more clear and feeling like maybe it could one day be A Thing, all kinds of eligible attractive men throw themselves at me.
  
• This isn't A Bad Thing, just A Curious Thing.
  
• Spent holidays with family for only the second time since I was 17. I think I'm good for another 10-12 years.
  

That's pretty much been it for the last year. We'll see what the new year brings.
