(no subject)
I've been running around with half-torn windshield wipers that have been of very little help in actual rain the last few weeks. Since it's bright and sunny for the foreseeable future,1 I snagged some wipers and cheap rubber mats for Ye Olde GTX.2 I think all the snow in NC did it some good... seems to have killed off the mildew that had been growing in there and the car smells nowhere near as funktastic as it used too. Pity, in a way - it reduces its "Beater" points significantly. bunzioli even suggested that I pull the plastic garbage bag off the seat, but I'm not quite ready to go that far yet!

Back is still painful, but worlds better than Friday. A few more weeks with the chiropractor and a few more good soaks in Sue & Co's hottub should hammer it all out. I also need to get back to walking (+ light rail) to work. I haven't been walking the last few weeks and this is what I get for my neglect.

2 I even got a swank cup holder, because nothing says "I love my crappy car!" quite like putting in a really nice cupholder. Of course, I forgot to buy spark plugs and a fresh wiring harness, but hey! The GTX is getting some love, and that's what it's all about, isn't it?
