I live!
It's been entirely too long since I've posted and I apologize to my fans, but life happens. As you might assume by the date I am no longer pregnant, and infact have 2 healthy nearly 6 months on my hands. They are actually pretty neat kids and as long as they have foods in their tummies there is limited crying and fussing!
I guess I'm feeling sentimental for the ole LJ because of the impending holidays and the fact that today is my last day of work for a while. I am currently sitting at my supervisor's desk, not really paying attention to the 40 or so screaming candy filled children at the center. Today is the last day before winter break and then the center will remained closed until jan 18th or so, so a looong break for me. coincidently, this might be my last day here at the center at all! I interviewed with the city of Santa maira Parks and rec department for a pretty big job, and did well enough for a second interview. This interview also went better than one could hope/fear/imagine. If I get this job I will be making significantly more money and will actually have staff under me, like 18!!! This is a significant status jump for me and although I'm excited for the opportunity, I am also scared to actually have a big girl job and be the one whos name is on the line.
In other news, I am now living in old orcutt. we got the apartment on Clark street which many of you have visited/ skulked around briefly. Besides being colder with all tile floors, we are living there pretty contendedly! If the job thing works out and we can save $$ maybe we can even consider buying our own home, who knows, anything is possible right?
Well I better get back to work, but I felt the need to post and say hello friends, it's been too long and I actually kinda miss you, mostly :)
