hippy bird day

Jun 05, 2004 00:18

well, thursday was the start of my 18th year..
i had a few early EARLY morning texts, to which i think i replied to in my sleep..heh
i received a rather excellent canon digital camera, after many years of wishing for one :) pick-chewers soon!
also had a bottle of absinthe bought for me <3
a large starry hula hoop, (!!)
a purple watch - i never wear watches, but only because i could never find a nice watch. this one is the answer.
my sister gave me an interesting top...pastel coloured (i dont "do" pastels) still, its pretty.
i have bill hicks cd, and i bought myself a couple of things too.. :D

the day was spent mainly in the moon under water, due to convenience, but it was rather jolly, and there was a trip to the arcade, to amuse *the lads* :P

picture this: dance machine. tall broad figure, all in black, new rocks, silver jewellery - doing the moves perfectly. heheh, go mr alistair, i took a video of his new rocks doing nifty moves. we're cool like that.

things progressed to campbell park where i ran around with poi for a while, but, as per usual on the 3rd of june, it started to rain. after standing around annoying people talking about what to do, i decided invading my house might not be such a bad idea, and we ended up there via miss kayleigh's, and watched Day of the Dead.

mr sam also came along, which was suffiently random, and i didnt appreciate his bitchiness towards various people :( but at least things were civilised. he provided transport in the direction of ben and jerry's too, which was appreciated.

after much food and vodka, a few of us remained and lounged around..

thankyou all for coming, *hugs* i was afriad i was going to stay in bed.

im now sipping peppermint tea and eating cherries. i still have a LOT of birthday cake and brownies...oh the pain, the pain of it all (!)

tomorrow i have to attend a meal with my family. i get so frustrated with the lack of decent mk restaurants. its all chains. im hoping tomorrow will prove me wrong.
