well well, today...
i heard an ice cream van, somewhere. although it was playing a rather weird and creepy tune, but still, this means summer is on its way, like so many people are saying lately. also some idiot was burning lots of stuff near my house, so it smells of sumemr and bonfires and and mm toasted marshmallows...
yes, im definately looking forward to it. what with this talk of parties in fields, and festivals, although im currently torn between raawk/drunkern chaos, and the twee lil accordian playing folkies. both are so good..
um, yes, tomorrow im going to buy shoes with my very small amounts of money, because im an idiot :D im also going to see mathhew bourne play. i love that guy. almost as much as bill bailey, whom i shall have to videotape. i feel such a traitor. but im going to dress up like a loon so it will be fine, obviously.
im reading charlie and the chocolate factory and its great. yes its a kids book, but its also the greatest. erm...why must people worry about morally and socially reforming me? im trying my hardest (despite what it seems :P) to actually get a job, im not on the dole, im not getting rat-assed every night, im actually using this time fairly creatively, in my opinion. we are made to think that we must all be doing "something". i mean yes, no one wants be jobless for the rest of their lives, but at the moment im going with the flow, and its all good. so nah :P
there have been some great films on in the middle of the night lately. well when i say great, i mainly mean "terrible but entertaining". for example last night there was the hilariously bad "season of the witch" and "a lust for a vampire" oh they made me chuckle. in between them was a random foreign film which wasnt about homosexual cowboys eating pudding, BUT rather a man whos' life "decends into darkness" after he has some french doors fitted. so where they were fitted was total black, but the rest of his house was sunny and dandy. then he was taken away by some demonic creature :D
other ones to mention are various Hammer horrors
Bound - a film about two woman who steal loadsa money from some gangster, and..."become lovers"
and Photographing Faeries, (see picture) which i thought was rather good :) its another telling of the Cottingly Faeries. was very surreal when everybody got naked, including the nature spirits, but hey.
oh to be nocturnal. you daytime people are missing out. but love, hugs, and sparkly bugs to you all anyway.
