(no subject)
i gave blood for the first time today, wasnt so bad.
the ride there was more painful, to be honest. listening to bad screechy singing along to weird hymns.. was glad to escape, even if it did mean having lots of vampyrric nurses attack me. ok im being a little over the top here.
i dont understand why you cannot give blood if you are a sexually active gay male?! it even states you cant even if you are safe. and even if you are a female who has slept with a man who has been. i digress, i just find this a little irrational.
twas a weird experience, staring at a dingy church ceiling for 10 minutes, listening to radio 2 whilst having blood drained out of me. not so bad though. if theres a next time im going to persuade someone to come with me.... *rubs hands* mwahah.
ok, despite being advised to take it easy, i went got the bus to meet my elvy pals <3 in the city centre and grew kinda hyper for someone who donated lots of that vital crimson fluid. (lol @ me). yay for beth alistair and kayleeigh, all very twinkly people. *feeds you all more custard creams*
but when sitting on the bus in a bit of a lightheaded dream, my friend anna, who i worked with sometimes got on. shes so glittery :D shes also the main influence for my poi obsession. shes really good :) also bumped into kassie and juice, more hyper than ive ever seen them, and THATS saying something. good old espressos. but yes...anna and i, we were discussing certain things in my life, and tattoos, and now im really sad. although it was a good day, full of random conversations and brian froud books. i ache a lot and im thinking a lot and im losing things, something that isnt just liquid flowing in my veins.. i am downloading lots of random comedy though, oh how we bow down to broadband.
ive been emailing missy gem too, having fun in her sparkly countryside home... *jealous*
oh and thanks for your email helen. twas.....speshal ;) and made me laugh in a way that only you know what can...
giving blood made me really really hungry, more so than usual, so im eating very nice fairtrade coffee chocolate. healthy at this time of night huh
