Pairing: Neville/Pansy

“You’re late.” Pansy hissed the instant Neville closed the door with a soft click. It was after curfew and only the light in the greenhouse was that of the full moon over head.

“Sorry.” Neville pleaded, bowing his head to avoid Pansy’s harsh glare.

Impatiently tapping her foot she asked, “You brought them, right?”

“Yes… of course. Two perfect Gurdyroot seedlings, just like we agreed.” He stepped closer to hand her the pots. She gestured to the wooden bench and he watched as she examined the seedlings.

“Well, I wouldn’t say perfect.” Neville looked panicked for a moment before she added, “But they’ll do. Sprout’s not that much of a stickler.”

Neville barely controlled the grin from spreading across his face. “I want my payment,” he blurted out.

Pansy rolled her eyes. “Anxious are we? You know I could pay you in Galleons. You could buy seeds or something; suck up a bit more to Sprout.”

“Take off your shirt,” Neville demanded.

The sudden command in his tone surprised her and she could feel her nipples harden in response to his assertive demeanor. One by one she slowly unbuttoned her top. Sliding the fabric off her shoulders, she reached behind her back to unclasp the white lacy bra she’d chosen specifically for the occasion.

For just a moment she let herself revel in the heat of his appreciative stare. “Close your mouth Longbottom, it’s nothing you haven’t seen before,” she snapped before whispering softly under her breath that they did this far too often.

He approached, keeping his hands close to his sides. “No touching,” she reminded him.

He frowned slightly. “I know the rules.”

“Good.”

“Remember what you promised this time. A kiss.”

She averted her eyes, avoiding his expectant gaze. “Yes, I remember. Now hurry, I don’t have all night.”

He came to stand in front of her and tentatively placed his palm against her cheek. She did her best not to lean into his warm hand. “Why are you doing this?”

“Because I love you.” He leaned in and hesitated for a moment. “And because sometimes you love me too. You’re just afraid.”

“Is that what you think?” she chided, before kissing him tenderly.
