(no subject)
i'm so glad i'm the only one in my office right now.
so this weekend past weekened was semi-eventful. saturday i got woken up to my dad screaming at me to get up because my uncle had a car he wanted me to look at. he works at the lexus/toyota dealer here, so he can get me cars for a couple hundred bucks over what they pay. to make a long story short, i went and saw the car (a 2002 honda civic) for about 2 minutes before i decided to buy it. it was perfect except for one slight problem- it's stick. driving home from the dealership the next day was an interesting experience. i think i stalled out about 15 times total. ah well, i'm getting much better at it.
the rest of the weekend i didn't really do that much. sunday jason and i went out to dinner with my mom and his parents. it went pretty well. the whole time i felt extremely nauseous though, because i kept worrying about the fact that i had to drive home from the restaurant. i tend to obsess over things that bother me.
on a different note, i've spent most of this morning downloading the basment jaxx cd- kish kash, because i left mine at home. it's definitely in the top ten of my favorite albums this year.
