College is freakin' awesome, guys.
Sorry I haven't updated, I've been in band camp the past couple days and then hanging out with the trumpets at night. BAND IS AWESOME. Everyone here actually cares, and the best part..THE DIRECTOR ACTUALLY CARES! What a concept. Man, and they don't take any crap, so you have to work 100% all the time, which is nice. Goodness, it's so cool.
The trumpets themselves are a lot of fun too. We've been playing ultimate frisbee and telling stories..My favorite story so far in Jon's dead dog story, haha!! I went to my first official college party last night (Chili Fest doesn't count..I was in high school..) Too bad the cops came and busted it at midnight. It wasn't even wild or anything. The trumpettes had "Cleavage Night," or lack thereof in my case..heh..but it was hilarious. We hung out at the trumpette house and the boys came and ambushed us. Heather and I also had to make a list of the hottest guys in the section, lol.
I'm having lots of fun. I have 71 new friends ^_^. Too bad I haven't met anyone on my floor yet..
