Yes, people, I'm alive; well, today I'm dead, but I'm alive.
Too much time since my last update, I have been to Bilbao for Christmas and came back to Leeds. Great Christmas with my friends and my sista ^^ I'm a bit homesick now but I'll be ok in two days.
I'm going to tell you what happened yesterday with my trip to Leeds...
Episode I: The flight
We were supposed to leave Bilbao at 16:45 but the flight was delayed so we arrived to London Stansted one hour late.
Episode II: The first train.
Where is the train to London Liverpool Street? Oh, I see, there's no train! We caught a bus that takes one hour to get to Liverpool Street, we were too late. Underground from Liverpool Street to Kings Cross where we had to take the train to Leeds.
Episode III: No train.
That's what we were told in Kings Cross; the last train to Leeds was at 20:30 and it was nine o'clock. You can imagine our faces... It was like OMGNOWAYYOUHAVEGOTTOBEKIDDINGME!!
Episode IV: The solution.
"You may catch a bus from Victoria Coach Station" You may! Ok, go to Victoria (underground), find the coach station, look if there is some bus to Leeds, run (for your life) to buy the tickets because they were closing the ticket office... Obviously, we have National Express train tickets but they were not valid for National Express coaches so we paid 22 pounds for each ticket. Well, we got our effing tickets.
Episode V: The joke.
Time of arrival: 5:30 WHAT THE WHAT?! We went to eat something in Burger King; we laughed, we wanted to cry, though; and at 23:30 we took the bus. I couldn't sleep...
Episode VI: The arrival.
We get to Leeds at 5:30, a taxi was in the coach station so we took it and finally, at 6 in the morning, I was in my room. I fell asleep around 7.
Epilogue:
Today I'm dead.
I cannot say anything else today; tomorrow I'm going to Uni to give an essay and then to the city centre to buy some stuff and take pictures of the snow. One of these days I'm updating again.
