"I told you," Lina began, panting, "if you're going to ogle other women, at least don't do it when I'm right there!"
"It isn't my fault you've got no ch--" He didn't even seem surprised at the resulting fireball, groaning only slightly when he hit the ground. "Worth it."

It was only a matter of time before the inherent awkwardness of Elazul's preconditioning to protect Pearl wore off, once it really settled in that Black Pearl was, for all intents and purposes, not really the Pearl he remembered. The fact that she actually had more battle prowess than him probably did it in the end.
It hadn't stopped his devotion toward her in the least... though the force with which she returned that devotion caught him off guard the first few times.
Not that he was complaining - her enthusiasm ensured complete satisfaction, but it was still bizarre (but wonderful) waking up next to her and remembering.

Rouge and Naga; A little contest.
Lyner and Misha; Suddenly shota Lyner!
Kanata and Ayla; Eight! Eight children! (ha ha ha)
Keilee and Luka; Go Team Cyphus!
Rue and Lina; The aftermath of a dinner date.
And I don't know if you're familiar with Disgaea 3 BUT if you are?

1. The Cygnus was, by far, one of the smoothest riding ships he'd ever been on. That fact made said trip at once convenient and abysmally dull. Add to that the fact that Blue, his current traveling partner, wasn't as easily irritated as someone like Fuse, he'd had to take some time considering how to proceed.
In the end, he'd just decided to offer the magician some sparring time - the wonderful thing about magic was that most of it was contained in such a small area that you didn't have collateral damage the way you would with, say, bullets or even blades. And honestly... given that they were heading back toward Mosperiburg with the Sand Vessel, this was probably a much needed endurance run for the events about to transpire. Nusakan hadn't spoken to the Time Lord in some time, but even he had trouble perceiving most of the other mystic's attacks ( ... )

It also made battles somehow smoother, as Luka spat out odd strings of phrases that only another follower of Cyphus could truly follow, Keilee striking at the weaknesses Luka inevitably pointed out better than even Vidar. Somehow, in all of that, Keilee had gotten an... idea"This is... kind of embarrassing, actually." Luka mentioned, sighing as they prepared for battle ( ... )

That was to say that Thymble had, in one way or another, figured out that Luka was actually a girl. And because Luka was a girl, the tiny wild elf had informed her that she shouldn't worry, and that Thymble would train "the most suitable husband" for her. It had been funny at first, but now she was actually thinking about the ramifications and her feelings toward the other High Elf ( ... )

"Well, I just kinda let the magic go! I never really thought about it before." was the half-elf's reply, as he shrugged his shoulders. Luka gave a heavy sigh, rubbing his temples.
"I... see. Well, this could be a long explanation, but I'll continue if you're still interested." he offered, nodding when Clarent did. "You see, magic is what happens when..."
It wasn't until someone called them for dinner that he realized he'd probably gone a little bit overboard in explaining himself.
