(no subject)
Here I am in sunny and unexpectedly warm St. Paul, Minnesota. Karen and I had the wacky idea at coffee one night to come up here and visit her old college buddies, so here we are.
Not much has happened lately. I'm updating because I'm being forced. I've pretty much lost interest in posting yet keep this journal alive only to keep tabs on everyone and to comment with my RoboCop, Crono, and Link avatars. But, really, if things progress like this, I may just ignore LiveJournal as a whole.
But to the news!
- I bought a new video card for my computer, the NVIDIA 6800 OverCharged, Pikmin 2, Star Ocean: 'Till The End Of Time, DDRMAX, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron: Rebel Strike, Pokemon FireRed, and the Street Fighter Anniversary Collection. Whew..
- I turned 19. I'M OLD.
- Class has started up again. Everything's going fine there.
- Ewww. I'm on an eMac. I bet my computer at home's crying right now. Who designed this mouse? One button? WHAT IS THAT.
- Only with the help of Neal's Best Buy discount was I able to rationalize buying the $233 NVIDIA 6800 OverCharged. So, as thanks: Ladies, I hear Neal has a forty inch penis. And testicles the size of watermelons!
- Minnesota is ridiculously hot for it being September. And being the Arctic Circle.
I should be back home in good, ol' McHenry by tonight. The plans are to leave by twelve, but I don't think that's going to happen; Regi is treating us to a send-off lunch.
